I started New York Sound & Motion in hopes to bring Madison Avenue to Western Mass. We work with all budgets from the local mom and pops to clients like Deloitte LLP, MGM Resorts International, Rocky’s Ace Hardware and Manny’s Appliances.  Since 2002, we have provided service to some of the region’s most notable businesses like Country Bank, Interstate Towing, Marcotte Ford, Gary Rome Hyundai, TommyCar Auto, Nadim’s Downtown, PSRB Law, and many local and regional advertising agencies. My passion for small business clients and high-end production led me to explore economical approaches in providing high-quality production.  We provided solutions to non-profit, educational organizations, and most importantly, small-business owners. It is our philosophy of affordable high-end production that has allowed us to weather the difficult and ever changing economy.

As early as 2013, we were the first fully 4k video production company in Western Massachusetts. We own our camera systems, Sony FX9, Sony F-55, Sony FX3 outfitted with Sony and Zeiss Optics all aboard our 1ton grip truck. For our high-end clients, we venture where many don’t, 4K RAW uncompressed, utilizing LUTS and color grading with raw Slog2 and Slog3. We have invested back into the company and have put technology to the forefront of our business. Along with our creative and technical expertise, we are able to create compelling and entertaining video production at a very reasonable cost.

Since 2011, we have been flying drones to get great footage that up until that time, was only available to very high-end clients by other aerial means. Today, we use the DJI Mavic 3 Professional system to capture 4k video footage and still photos for our clients. We are FAA 107 certified, (since 2017 when the FAA required all commercial film companies to be), and fully insured.

As a business owner, producer, DP and editor, I find the prospect of expanding my service to new clients to be exhilarating. I love the art of sharing stories with others to convey ideas, beliefs, and experiences. My passion and commitment to small business has brought me my current success, and hopefully the opportunity to enjoy greater success in the future.

I have a focus, dedication, and love for location audio. I understand more than anybody the importance of good sound is for a production and that’s is why I have concetrated in Sound.
Sound operates differently from everyone else, while everyone fights the battle of what is visible on set, Sound engineers fight against what is invisible whether that be sound waves and radio frequencies. While everyone else works to make picture perfect, I resolve to complete it and makes sure nothing you can’t see messes up the video.
I started collecting sound gear start of 2023 and am continuing to build a bigger and better sound package to handle whatever the situation is throw my way. I love learning about all the modern gear, it’s utilities and use cases and I love to share and use that knowledge to bring about the best sound possible.
I look forward to a future of learning and growing as a sound engineer, and highlighting the importance and value good sound brings within my work.

Set of Quick Change

During the summer of 1989, I was a production assistant on the set of Quick Change Directed by Bill Murry and Howard Franklin. I worked for the grip and lighting company called Quick Silver Electric. My job was basically to make sure nobody went near big foot. Funny fact, one day I was supposed to make sure Howard Franklin's car was not going to get towed...well I failed I ended up going to NJ to the impound yard to get it. Gotta learn from my mistakes!
